The process is simple and only takes a few minutes, but it can have a profound impact on the efficiency and lifespan of your system.
Some of the benefits include:
- Reduced energy bills
- Fewer repair bills
- A cleaner, healthier indoor environment
- Improved A/C performance
- Longer A/C lifespan
Not sure how often to replace your air filters? Check your owner’s manual or get in touch with our maintenance experts. We’ll be happy to help you develop a replacement schedule that works for your system.

Inspect Drain Lines & Pan
Your A/C system’s drain lines and pan play a crucial role in removing water from your home. If either of these components becomes blocked, it could lead to serious water damage. The process includes:
- Inspect the A/C unit’s drain pan for any cracks or leaks.
- Inspect the drain lines for any clogs, blockages, or leaks.
- Use a wet/dry vac to remove any water from the system.
- Add bleach to the system to kill any mold or mildew that may be present.
- Adding a pan tablet to the system to help prevent future clogs.
This is a relatively simple process, but it’s important to do it on a regular basis to avoid water damage. If you don't feel confident, we can help.
During a routine inspection, our technicians will:
- Inspect the drain pan for cracks, leaks, or holes
- Inspect the drain lines for clogs, blockages, or leaks
- Clean the Pan and Lines
- Tighten any loose connections
- Test the system to ensure it is draining properly
As part of our maintenance services, our technicians will inspect your drain lines and pan to make sure they are clear and in good working order.
